Balanced Rock in the Community – Sustainable Community Involvement
Balanced Rock Investment Advisors believes in sustainable business practices and we consider ourselves part of a sustainable community that stretches from our neighborhood to the greater Boston area and beyond to our entire planet. We want to be active in its development.
Active engagement in and support of our community is a central part of both our mission and our business. Not only do we love supporting community events and organizations, we find it’s great for business! And that to us is the definition of sustainability! Here are some of the organizations and community events Balanced Rock supports:
Kids Art Express
The mission of Kids Art Express is to foster creativity and provide access to art for children who otherwise have limited opportunities for artistic endeavors. Kids Art Express will serve underprivileged children in and around Boston by facilitating pop-up educational art experiences at public places such as neighborhoods, parks, and libraries, and for organizations such as schools in low-income areas and others serving at-risk children. Balanced Rock is proud to be the first corporate Sponsor of this great organization. Kids Art Express is trying to build a self-sustaining non-profit social enterprise to free itself from typical ongoing fundraising campaigns and the high costs and volunteer hours involved. Instead it will offer kids art programs for private parties and functions with the proceeds directly supporting its art outreach programs. Learn more and schedule Kids Art Express for your next event to support the cause.
